Continuing this summer: Friday parent fun day and cookout!!
Parents and family can come at noon for a cookout and then spend the rest of the
day doing all the water sports with their children. What a great way to
have some summer fun with the family!
The format is 5 day day-camps, 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. Instruction includes educational
games and activities designed to enhance teamwork, self-esteem and confidence,
safety and sport-specific skills. Kids go kayak, canoe, windsurf, paddleboard,
fishing, do arts & crafts like make tye-dye t-shirts and learn about
ecology in the Pheasant Branch Nature Preserve. Kids go
tubing/waterskiing/wakeboarding a couple days of the week and get ice cream from the Memorial Union. All
camps meet at Marshal Park off University Ave on Allen Blvd, except bad weather
days.
During inclement weather, the group will be driven
or meet at Thomas' father's house nearby. It's a large house with the Wii,
board
games, pool, movies and computers in a very family friendly neighborhood near parks
and the Pheasant Branch Conservatory.
Everyday is a little different, every camp is too...
All Staff hold Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications
and have extensive experience in leading youth camps. Your
child's wellbeing is our primary concern. There will be one male and
one female counselor.
"Our family is so excited about the “new”
Supreme Water Sports Camps! We can hardly wait. The kids want a fun summer
filled with lots of water sports and good times on the lake! They want to spend
their summer learning about water sports of all kind. The kids would just love
to explore all sorts of new places. I can hardly wait. Thank you so much for
being there for my kids. Best of all, thank you for putting together FUN
summer memories. Tubing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, anything at
all…learning water safety…learning about the environment…just relaxing and
talking and laughing…
